21st Annual

In conjunction with Earth Day on April 22, 2017, Volusia County Environmental Management sponsored the 21st annual St Johns River Clean Up. This year 619 volunteers from Volusia, Seminole, and Lake County combined efforts to remove 6267 pounds of trash from the St Johns River.

Nine mile Point Park/Lake George had 68 volunteers of all ages and collected 900 pounds of garbage.

DeLeon Springs State Park had 50 volunteers and collected 360 lbs DeLeon Springs State Park had 50 volunteers and collected 360 lbs. of garbage

Ed Stone Park had 210 volunteers and collected 2100 lbs of garbage

Lake Beresford Park had 44 volunteers and collected 850 lbs of garbage

West French Avenue/Starks Landing had 31 volunteers and collected 120 lbs. of garbage

Lake Monroe Park had 158 volunteers and collected 600 lbs. of garbage

C.S. Lee Park had 44 volunteers who picked up 900 lbs. of garbage

Lemon Bluff had 14 volunteers and collected 350 lbs of garbage
