Thanksgiving meal begins Many recipes are handed down from generation to generation. There are often family traditions created in the way certain dishes are prepared. The meal usually begins with hors doeuvres such as cheese and crackers, olives, stuffed mushrooms, and fancy nuts and wine and cocktails.
