Polygon Pizzas By: Emma Exton

Pizza #5 One full $4.00 pizza could fit in the middle of this quadrilateral. The triangles on the sides, are half of the $4.00 pizza. And if you put both halves together, it will make another whole $4.00 pizza. $4.00 + $4.00 = $8.00. So, this pizza would cost $8.00.

Pizza #6 Two full $4.00 pizza could fit on the bottom half of the pentagon. About three quarters of the $4.00 pizza could fit on top. The two triangles left on the sides can fit on the corners of the top $4.00 pizza to make it a whole $4.00 pizza. $4.00 + $4.00 + $4.00 = $12.00. So, this pizza will cost $12.00.

Pizza #8 One full $4.00 pizza can fit on the bottom of the right trapezoid. Half of a $4.00 pizza can fit on the top of the trapezoid. $4.00 + $2.00 = $6.00. So, this pizza will cost $6.00.
