Who are we? Resident population is 94,805. 19.3% of the population is school age. In 2014, 8 LSOAs were in the 10% most deprived. (7 in Rhyl, 1 in Upper Denbigh). The current e-FSM population is 19.2% (1260 pupils). 2011 Census showed that 22,236 of Denbighshire Residents spoke Welsh.

What matters to us? The Council has a clear ambition to maintain quality of services to address important issues raised by residents. Younger People want to live and work In Denbighshire and have the skills to do so. Improving educational standards and protecting children from harm are top corporate priorities for the council.
