Lessons For Us Today

Godly Motivation includes selflessness If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:11

Godly Motivation includes selflessness Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. James 1:17

Godly Motivation includes righteous motives Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel. 1 Corinthians 14:12

Godly Motivation includes righteous motives For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

Conclusion 1. The Christian must do things with the proper motivation. a. Great acts done with selfish motives are worthless. 2. What the Christian does, and how the Christian lives should be done because of godly motivation.
