Men in Christ who walk so as to please God are ‘spiritual’
Galatians 6:1 NKJV 1 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.”

Don’t want any set rules, codified in any way
They are saying that they don’t want a Bible
Want to make up their own rules as they see fit

Claim a “personal relationship with Christ”
Doesn’t matter what church you attend irregularly or not at all
Individual chooses what he wants to believe and follow

Creation of new “god” who is indifferent to his worshipers who accepts worship that the individual decides to give
Each person is creating a personal idol
No different than household gods we read about in the Bible

Isn’t it strange that people’s gods always agree with them?
The result is always creating a god in their own image – Romans 1:22,23; Psalm 50:21
“Well, my god wouldn’t….” that is someone who has a god in his own image

That is why we are commanded:
1 Peter 4:11 NKJV 11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

God organized a religion and expects people to follow it
Christ established His church – Matthew 16:18
Founded upon laws – 1 John 5:2,3
It is through following the law, we have a relationship with God – 1 John 2:3-6; John 14:15

The church is the fullness of Christ- Ephesians 1:22,23
When people are saved they are added to that church – Acts 2:47
God also established that Christians in a local to assemble as church
Not to forsake the assembling – Hebrews 10:24,25

We see examples of Christians assembling – Acts 11:26

Local church to edify members – Ephesians 4:16
Such can be seen in acts of worship- 1Corinthians 14:26
Claim to follow Christ while disobeying Christ? Luke 6:46

Looking out for the interests of others- Philippians 2:1-4
Those claiming to be “irreligiously spiritual” place SELF above all else
Be humble servants of the mighty God- 1 Peter 5:5
