Mayfield Primary School: Our new chapter

International Women’s Day (Wednesay 8th March) It is a chance to reflect on the progress made for women by women.

The progress so far…..

Women’s equal rights (2017) Equal human rights Equal rights to men Right to vote Right to work Right to a family and friends Right to respect Right to a home, food, health care, love, etc.

2017….everything is equal, isn’t it?

There are still inequalities, if we choose to look. Right for freedom Right to a home or shelter

Can you spot the lady. Has enough changed Can you spot the lady? Has enough changed? It is a time to call for change. ‘Be Bold for Change’

Theme this year: ‘Healthcare treatment for all women’. There are projects around the world going on right now, all trying to make that difference.

Belief in change and something better, is all that you need. Often things are hard work, but the things you have to work hardest at, are often most satisfying.
