LOST OR DAMAGEED BOOKS Please do not lose or damage a book. The average cost for a lost or damaged book is $20.00. There is a replacement cost charge for all damaged or lost books. Remember to take good care of your library books.

LIBRARY RULES Walk and use a quiet voice. Treat others with respect and kindness. Take good care of all library materials and equipment.

LIBRARY RULES If a library books gets torn or falls apart, bring it back to the library.  We will fix it. No food or drink in the library. Take turns using the computer equipment.

CIRCULATION To check out a book, come to the circulation desk. You may check out a book for three weeks. You may check out two books at a time. If you have an overdue book, you will not be allowed to check out another until the book is returned. To return a book, hand the book to the librarian or set it on the circulation desk by the checkin sign.

WHY SHOULD YOU GO TO THE LIBRARY? A 2005 Illinois School Libraries shows that students who often visit the better-stocked and better-staffed libraries have higher ACT, reading, and writing scores versus those who don't. Further proof that libraries can help to make you smarter! (https://www.islma.org/pdf/ILStudy2.pdf)

Library Volunteers Needed! If you need service hours, come to the library. Volunteers needed during lunch to help younger students. Volunteers needed after school to help other students with their homework or to complete library aide tasks. Contact Mrs. Gladden if you have any questions.

REMEMBER…. Enjoy the library.  I am always glad to help you with your assignments! Don’t forget to return your books on time.
