Class Objective Classes are offered to support system users through the development and initial implementation phase of Coordinated Entry Offered every 3rd Thursday of each month from 1:00 –3:00 p.m. April 19th, May 17th, June 21st, July 19th, August 16th, September 20th Training topics include: FAQ’s, New System Upgrades, New and/or existing Policy items Other new developments

Purpose For Today’s Training Introduce and provide live demonstration on how to use the Prioritization List – Service Acceptance/Rejection Options in CES Provide procedures for how to use Service Acceptance/Rejection Options . Notify CoC and ESG-RRH of the new CES Enrollment Requirement in HMIS.

Service Acceptance /Rejection HOW To Guide Training guide reviews procedures and processes…. Stored on CoC website http://www.pennsylvaniacoc.org/wester ncommittees/coordinated-entry/

When To USE Service Acceptance Providers will use the service acceptance function once it is determined the client is eligible to be funded.

When To Document Rejections Provider determined that the consumer does not meet funder’s eligibility guidelines. Client did not follow through in a timely manner – provider follow procedures for moving to next person in line. Client rejected offer

action Date Record the acceptance/rejection date as the action date. Consumer accepted an offer on 4/12/2018 therefore the action date is recorded as 4/12/2018.

Why Would you return To Prioritization List or Consumer’s List Record? To document reasons for the rejection in a community note To update days in status from in process back to reviewed, if the consumer will stay on list due to rejection. Client may remain on the list because they are eligible for other housing interventions i.e. Accepted ES or TH still in need of Permanent Housing

system Update…. TH added as a homeless location in the homeless history grid within the screening tool. CES Enrollment Requirement

Summary Of CE Enrollment Requirement This feature will enact for any client being enrolled into a ESG or CoC Funded project, for Permanent Supportive Housing, Transitional Housing or Rapid Rehousing, and that client has not first been assessed by a Western CES Intake/Assessment Center (i.e. must have  CE Screening Tool recorded).    This feature will exclude those identified as “DV” in HMIS.
