STRATEGY STATUS Increase PSH by 391 units Implement Vulnerability Index (VI) Reduce CoC funding for TH by 50% Establish Housing First/ACT Team 2010 Annual Housing Inventory County (HIC) 378 units PSH 2016 Annual Housing Inventory Count (HIC) 2,192 units PH 1,320 PSH 871 RRH INCREASE OF 1,814 UNITS IN 6 YEARS

Strategy Status Increase Emergency Shelter Capacity Reduce CoC funded TH by 106 units Increase PSH by 101 units Provide RRH after Stimulus program funds expire in June 2012 New ES provider – Room in the Inn, operates seasonal 11/1 – 3/31 0 CoC funded TH units Increased PSH & RRH for a total of 1,291 beds EHP is a national best practice model (NAEH.org)

5 Mayor’s Action Plan Goal three: provide a path out of homelessness for all
Strategy Status Increase the number of Emergency Shelter units for single women Ensure that existing shelter resources are available to those in need for a minimum of 20 days without cost and meet basic building codes and safety codes Initiate Project Homeless Connect events Non-profits exploring expansion or new units have been unable to identify sufficient funding to move forward. Genesis Services, a newly funded RRH program for singles, is providing RRH opportunities for current occupants of the single women ES units. Current ES residents can be quickly rehoused leaving open beds instead of a waiting list.
