Agenda Background Google Suite: What is it? Review of tools: Google Docs and Google Forms Benefits Activity Q & A

Background Current workplace looks for collaboration and teamwork Challenge is how to teach to learners Google perfect match Use of technology supports building of students communication and collaborative skills (Cahill, 2014)

“G” Suite

Benefits Collaboration Teamwork Supports: -learner to instructor -learner to learner -learner to content (Moore, 1989)

Unedited Responses How did this session benefit you?(8 responses) Fostered presence through video with instructor and learners I think that observing how the instructors interacted with the group, the delivery (casual - but with purpose) - gave me some ideas of appropriate instructional delivery/feedback for learners. Good to imagine me facilitating a course discussion in this format. I really enjoyed getting to interact more with my fellow FoOT students and it was nice getting to ask questions and getting answers right away. This session allowed me to see members of the class, thus making it a more personal experience. The questions posed by the class also revealed some of the questions that i thought about during the class. Pimarily, meeting the other participants. In addittion, I gained a sense of confidence by knowing that others are challenged with similar issues. Great discussion on learner activities
