Tides Foldable

Step 1 Tides Foldable Take white copy paper and a yellow piece of paper (8 ½ x 11 folded into 3 equal sections) Cut a yellow sun, like the one shown above and glue it to the paper. You don’t need the scrap paper.

Step 2 You need a square of orange paper (2 ½ inches X 3 inches) For step 2: You need a square of orange paper (2 ½ inches X 3 inches) You need to make a lip on one side, like the picture you see here. Glue only the lip down so you can write under the flap.

Step 3 Add glue just here You need a square of blue and green paper (it will be easier to cut both circles at the same time) 6 X 4 ½ Make a circle that fits inside this square Glue the circle down but only on one side so you can take notes under the circle.

Step 4 You need to trim the green circle down, like shown above and glue it flat down on the blue circle.

Step 5 Use your scraps from the blue circle – fold it so you have 4 layers (then you only need to cut once to get the same size circles Glue the 4 circles as shown above (yes they are completely glued to the paper)

Step 6 Color in the moons as shown above Add the labels as shown above Sun, Earth, New Moon, Full Moon, 1st Quarter, 3rd Quarter

Step 7 Cut 4 rectangles out of paper 2 ½ X 3 Add a lib onto the paper and glue only the lip down so you can take notes under the paper.

Step 8 Choose 2 different colors to add arrows like shown New Moon 3rd Quarter 1st Quarter Full Moon Choose 2 different colors to add arrows like shown make a key like shown Add the titles of each flap to the top You may draw the moon phase on the front to if you wish.
