10 Turn the title page of your INB  Work on filling in the plot and character squares on the title page.  Each square should show a symbol or example that helps you remember the details of analyzing plot and character.  Must be colorful.

13 Page 15 – Point of View  Cut out the four windows.  Color the First Person curtain pink  Color the Third Person curtains in various shades of blue (each one a different color blue.  Fold the curtains so that the top part makes a tab.  Put glue on the back, leaving the rest of the curtains to fold up.  Don’t worry about the yellow frames, we’re not doing those.

14 Page 17 – Inference  Cut out and color the pieces as shown below.  Glue the three pieces, gluing only the tabs for “Prior Knowledge” and “inference”  Glue the red piece all the way down.

15 Page 16 – Inference Activity Cut out and color the two examples as shown to the eight. Glue down the two examples on page 16 as shown to the right.

19 Prepare for today’s lesson  You need:  red, green, blue, purple, and orange.

20 Fill in the foldable  In the “Main Idea or Topic Sentence” tab, write the topic sentence  At the top of each folded flap, write “Idea Category or Transitional Sentence”  On each flap, circle the correct choice, then write either the category or the sentence on the flap.  On the inside of the flap, write the details that support that idea category or transitional sentence.
