Email marketing Effectively engage with customers and prospects through email Leverage IBM pre-packaged campaigns • Built on Business Partner ready campaigns • Easily upload, create and manage contact lists Generate leads • Drive traffic to customizable landing pages • Seamlessly integrates with your IBM syndicated web content • Track open rates, click rates and more Execute with ease • Easy to use with no additional resources • Customize and launch campaigns directly from your Partner Console • Save time and money on creating new email marketing templates The email marketing capability is built on our Business Partner ready marketing campaigns and enables BPs to easily create and execute multi-touch email marketing campaigns to generate demand for products and services. The content is again provided from the IBM Channel Teams, and allows BPs to execute, monitor and measure Email campaigns through this platform. Partners upload their company logo, their BP Emblems and their contact lists into this platform; which are btw, restricted from IBM View. The BPs select a campaign email, customize and send the email from their partner console. On the next slide, let’s take a look at the BP ready campaigns 2 2

Business Partner Ready Campaigns What is Business Partner Ready? Pre-packaged email marketing campaigns, including strategy, plan, assets and offers Fully customizable, including a landing page Consistent IBM messaging Translated versions (available upon request) Available at no charge These are pre-packaged campaigns that have been developed by IBM’s worldwide marketing teams and are made available to Partners at no cost. The campaigns are built to provide a rapid return on investment, and include consistent messaging and compelling offers. They are fully customizable. A typical campaign includes a guidance document, 3-4 customizable emails, corresponding customer offers, customizable landing page text and telescript. All BPs have to do is customize and send to their clients and prospects. The majority of campaigns are available in English, and some are in local languages. English campaigns can be made available in other languages. We handle this based on demand…so if you see a campaign that you’d like to use in another language, simply send an email to our IBM Task ID: ibmdcm@us.ibm.com. We will connect with the campaign owners and ask whether the campaign is available in the language you request, and if it is, it will be loaded into the console for your use…which typically takes about a week after receipt of files. In any case, new campaigns are being loaded into the system on a weekly basis, so please check back regularly. 3

Integration – API Economy Strategy Example Multi-Touch Campaign Integration – API Economy Strategy LoB Executives must strike a balance  between customer-focused business results, such as rapid turnaround time and effective responsiveness, and the business objectives of the organization, which emphasize cost control and new revenue sources.  These LoB Execs, as well as IT execs, know that the age of APIs, mobile apps, and the Internet of Things can generate new revenue streams and innovation based off of information.  They need help developing an API strategy and then identifying the tools to succeed. Developers are looking for a way to speed development and share assets internally.  They recognize the value of externalizing APIs but today they are using the majority of their APIs internally to help expedite projects and to better collaborate.
