What Qualities Do You Have? The Keys to Good Character

Respect How to be a respectful person. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Be polite. Listen to what others have to say. Don’t insult people or make fun of them. Don’t bully or pick on people. Don’t judge people before you get to know them.

Fairness How to be a fair person. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Take turns. Tell the truth. Play by the rules. Think about how your actions affect others. Listen to people with an open mind. Don’t blame others for your mistakes. Don’t take advantage of other people. Don’t play favorites.

Trustworthy How to be a trustworthy person. Be honest. Don’t lie, cheat or steal. Be reliable. Keep promises and follow through on commitments. Have the courage to do what’s right. Be a good friend and don’t betray trust.

Responsibility How to be a responsible person. When you agree to do something, do it. Take care of your own business. Take responsibility for your actions. Don’t make excuses or blame others. Use your head. Think before you act. Think of the consequences.

Caring How to be a caring person. Treat people with kindness. Help people in need. Be sensitive to others feelings. Never be mean or hurtful. Think about how your actions will affect others. We become caring people by doing caring things.
