2. Character Counts Caring Caring is gentle and nice. Caring is when you help people that are hurt. Caring is when you are kind and you express gratitude, forgive others and help people in need.

3. Character Counts Respect Do: Treat others with respect, follow the golden rule, be tolerant of differences, use good manners, not bad language, be considerate of others, and respond to a adult when spoken to. Don’t: Do bad things or you will be in trouble!

4. Character Counts Responsibility Do what you are supposed to do. Persevere: keep on trying Always do your best. Be self-disciplined. Think before you act-consider the consequences. Be accountable for your actions.

5. Trustworthiness Be honest, don’t deceive, cheat, or steal. Be reliable; do what you say you’ll do. Have the courage to do the right thing. Be loyal; stand by your family, friends and country. Keep your promises when you promise somebody. Build a good reputation.

6. Character Counts You have to cooperate when somebody is trying to ask you something. You have to be a good neighbor. You have to obey laws and rules and protect the environment. You have to do your share to make your school and community a happy place.
