OCR Sport Science

Sport Science – The course The course is assessed through coursework and examinations. You will learn about: Anatomy and Physiology. Sports Leadership Nutrition Injuries You will do some practical and learn through this method. But the majority of the time you will be classroom based.

How is the course assessed? The course is assessed through: Coursework. Examinations. You should be playing sport outside of school and have a keen interest in sport.

Where does this course take you? Careers and Post 16 Leads onto a level 3 Physical Education course in our sixth form or college. University places will look at GCSE grades. Employment. Jobs – Physiotherapist, Sport Scientist, Coach, Official, PE Teacher, Personal Trainer, Sport Development Officer.
