What was Washington’s Strategy at the end of the war? Washington’s main army was camped : Near NYC Keeping eye on British General Clinton’s forces French forces were expected to arrive: Army Navy Washington decides to attack British in Virginia (not NYC)

August 1781 C- March south and meet up with Lafayette Also coordinate with French Fleet- Washington’s forces outnumbered the British 2 to 1. Patriot forces have a siege of British forces at Yorktown. Siege?
