Tutors can access student profiles to track progress Typical Yr7 progress after 2 terms. It’s not a race! Can’t start graduate until yr 9 (if done apprentice) or yr10 if not done apprentice. If they finish apprentice early – can do some more activities.

Tutors can sign off students activities by reading their evidence Student profiles Tutors can sign off students activities by reading their evidence Pupil response

Encouraging self-reflection It’s not just the doing that’s important – it’s being able to articulate what you’ve done. Students must report what they have completed

Timetable The Edge will be launched in the new year with Year 7- students do not know what it is yet. Students are already working on a resilience task reflecting on Pinkery and their first term at Heathfield. Aim is for current Year 7 to have completed the Apprentice level by the end of year 8

What departments need to do This is for year 7 students only in the first instance. You do not need to prepare anything. Students will be inducted in the Edge during form times. Be positive when it is being introduced. Encourage students if they come to you to propose a project or skill that they want to do. Activities could be possible in all subjects. Work with the Year 7 team to support students.
