2 Objectives To become familiar with the requirements for teaching Design and Technology EY-KS2 (see ‘new’ aims for the NC ) To acquire the knowledge and understanding of the subject to be able to plan and teach using a range of resources and questions To gain awareness of health and safety issues when planning activities Meet the personalised concerns from the audit. Deliver a ‘good or better’ session based on the lesson observation criteria

Some conclusions The curriculum Research The subject leader/Inspection Your Task Plan a unit of study to cover half a term. This should include a medium term plan and six individual lesson plans. You should include ICT, a range of artefacts/resources, cross-curricular links and a visit if possible. It is expected that you teach at least two sessions. Photos, lesson plans, evaluations, evidence of children’s work should be included.
