Aim: make 621 using the number cards and + - x ÷ If you have an A-level in maths or science: You may only use 5 of the number cards If you have a degree in maths or science: you may not use “addition.”

Using all numbers and signs: 100 x 6 = 600 600 + 3 + 8 + 9 + 1 = 621 Using 5 numbers 8 - 1 = 7 7 x 3 = 21 600 + 21 = 621 Using no addition 8 x 3 = 24 100 - 24 = 76 76 - 6 - 1 = 69 69 x 9 = 621
