Trusting the Father

These are also the same things Jesus endured Dark Days He felt abandoned (Psalm 22:1-2) He was despised (Psalm 22:6-8) He was near death (Psalm 22:11-18) These are also the same things Jesus endured

Prayer in Suffering Each cry of pain was followed with a plea to God David turned to God during his darkness In the midst of Jesus’ suffering, he turned to God

Prayer in Suffering “Sadly, in our darkness, we fail to see God’s guiding hand and we choose to focus on His crushing fist”

Trusting the Father God hears us  ”who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear, though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him” ~ Heb. 5:7-9

Trusting the Father God hears us God is with us “Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.” ~ John 16:32

Trusting the Father God hears us God is with us God strengthens us “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” ~ 2 Tim. 1:7

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” ~ Hebrews 13:5-6
