What does it mean to be intelligent in today’s society? How de we measure intelligence? Inside school? Outside of school?

What is it? “The theory of multiple intelligences proposes that each individual has a unique combination of intelligences through which he or she is able to learn or teach new information. Although each human has all nine identified intelligences, no two individuals have the same amount of each.”

Existentialist Intelligence The ability and proclivity to pose (and ponder) questions about life, death, and ultimate realities. A need to see the “Big Picture” in order to understand the smaller parts. Have a strong connection with family, friends Express a sense of belonging to a global community
