Helping you every step of the way. Bob, Alex, and Rajan

Mission Statement Solemanns strives to revolutionize the footwear industry and provide the best shoes by utilizing new designs and concepts to make our products outlast, and outdo any competitors’.

Supplier Phoenix Flower Shoes & Garments Co. Ltd. From China, will provide us with shipments of our shoes. Many years of experience Each pair of shoes costs $6 to make Each pair of soles costs $2 to make

Our Product Our shoes are unlike our competitors because the soles dictates the shoe’s role Unlike competitors, our one shoe can do many different things. Ex. One can change their runners into cleats, or even track spikes. Soles fit snugly at the bottom of the shoe Each type of shoe will come in a variety of colours

Model 001 Our first model designs Retails at $45 Comes in a variety of colors such as green, red and black Supports all soles of our brand

Model 002 Second model designed Retails at $55 Comes in blue, red, green, and black. Higher topline for foot support and comfort Supports all soles of our brand

Model 003 Third model designed Retails at $50 Comes in black, red, and navy Lower topline for more foot freedom and rotation Supports all soles of our brand

Finance Total start-up costs: $14,000 $5000 for 100 pairs each of 3 types of shoes Shoes cost $16 to manufacture and ship Soles cost $4 to manufacture and ship 740 square feet warehouse in Abbotsford with $260 monthly including rent and utility bills $5000 in advertisements using pay-per-click system $50 per month on phone bills for a year

Charts of Costs Static Cost Monthly Cost Misc. Costs $5,000 Advertising $140 Warehouse Rent $16 per pair of Shoes $5,000 Shoes & Soles $120 Utility Bills $4 per pair of Soles $50 Phone Bills $0.20 per click on ad Total: $10,000 Total: $310 Monthly

Profit Selling shoes for about $50 and soles $10 retail Profit margins on both soles and shoes is 60%, meaning an average of $30 per pair of shoe and $6 per pair of soles, depending on type of shoe and sole.

Advertising We would spend about $5,000 on our marketing budget Focuses mostly on the internet with pay-per-click adverts Internet ads are very inexpensive and have a broad scope Anywhere from 30,000 to 100,000 guaranteed potential customers due to the low cost of $0.05 to $0.30 dollars per click

Shipping We will use UPS to deliver our products to us and to our consumers Delivers more than 15 million packages a day to 6.1 million customers worldwide Very well recognized and is one of the best shipping lines Shipping costs $10 per pair of shoes Shipping costs $2 per pair of soles

Customer Payments Credit card, debit card, and paypal are all viable When we are operating a physical store, cash will be accepted as well.

Customer Service We provide amazing customer service from both our phones and emails All customer service is free Voicemails and emails answered within 1 business day

Day to Day Costs Only need to pay for warehouse rent, phone bills, and warehouse utility costs. No employees= No wages paid Customers pay for shipment Total= $310 monthly= $10.30 daily

Target Market Our target market is people who are 14 to 30 years old who live active lives Statistics show most people who are active are between 14 to 30 years old Our product caters to people who use many types of shoes to do what they need or want to do everyday.

Growth Attempt to license designs to large footwear corporations such as Nike and Adidas If licensing fails => we plan to expand by selling our products in physical stores If we get even farther, we will franchise our designs

Goals Early on, we hope to gain at least enough sales to run pay the warehouse rent and phone bills, at least $310 per month Enough profit to pay back start-up funds within 1 year

Competition Immediate = many other new companies with similar interests Later = corporate super-giants such as Nike and Adidas We are better because our shoes are cheaper than any leading brand’s, last longer, and can do easily change what it can do depending on what the owner wants Competition can be avoided if we sell off our design to larger corporation as gain profits from royalties

Problems/Solutions A problem is that we may be overwhelmed with too many customers A solution is to hire a few employees to help us Another problem is that mega-corporations such as Nike may attempt to copy our design and sell the product as their own Our solution is to obtain intellectual copyright so competitors cannot use our designs People won’t take the chance to buy our shoes since we are a brand new company with a different idea Our solution is to host giveaways to let people try out our shoes

Conclusion Low retail price with amazing profit margins Experienced supplier Only need $12500 in start-up funds Advertising cheap and effective
