Education and Training Statistics Working Group – 16-17 June 2015 ISCED mappings 2014 First year of: sending of ISCED mappings to Eurostat according to the Regulation (compulsory, within Quality reports) "full" ISCED mappings, i.e. four sheets Compliance with the deadline (31 January 2015): 20 countries (18 EU out of 28), some in February mappings from 4 EU countries still missing Education and Training Statistics Working Group – 16-17 June 2015 5
Quality of ISCED mappings 2014 Remark: 2014 mappings were not reviewed as those for 2013; only roughly "validated" Sheet 1: Compulsory and free education rather well filled in; sometimes problems with: "free education", information in terms of grades Sheet 2: Scope UOE enrolments not always updated (or some proxies..) new programmes - rare new numeration of programmes Education and Training Statistics Working Group – 16-17 June 2015 6

Sheet 3: Qualifications outside scope UOE filled in for 12 EU (+3) countries information on 3 – 26 qualifications some countries explicitly inform that there are no such qualifications/validations of competencies, for other – probably information is difficult to be gathered improvements certainly needed..
