Who We Are Before The Turner Community Connection Before The Turner Foundation Before Turner Rec Even before Turner became a USD The Turner Lions Club serving our community since 1954.

We are the local expression of the largest community service organization in the world! We are the only service club in Turner.

Things we have done Provided for schools – 4 Elementary shelter houses –TMS water garden –THS flagpole Provided for students –Scholarships –Eyeglasses

Support school clubs –Turner Stream Team –FIRST Lego League –Science Club –Art Club – Peace Posters Support band students Support school & community sports team

Participated in Turner Days since its inception Provided for community members in need –Site Bus eye exams –Eyeglasses –Food Baskets at Thanksgiving & Christmas

Major Contributions from 01 to 12 Eyeglasses purchased $ 6, Food Baskets $ 6, School Activities $ 7, Scholarships $14, Boy Scouts $ 1, Kansas Lions State Band $ 6, International Band $12, Turner Recreations $ 3, Kansas School for the Blind $ 2, Turner HS Flag Pole $ 2, Shelter Houses $ 8, Turner Team Sports $ 2, TOTAL $70,696.83

How you can help We need your support in order to continue! We invite you to join us. We would love it if Members of the Turner USD202 Board of Education, Administration, faculty, and staff would join us in our efforts. (At least one person from each building would be great!) Annual Membership costs $75 per person.
