REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION/PREVENTION OPTIMAL OCCUPATIONAL PERFORMANCE OT ERGONOMICS REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION/PREVENTION OPTIMAL OCCUPATIONAL PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES OT, by treating a client with pathology needs to use ERGONOMICS for Reasonable Accommodation to achieve OPTIMAL OCCUPATIONAL PERFORMANCE, but also to prevent injuries on duty. we feel that ergonomic assessments as part of health risk assessments, workplace modifications, return-to-work assessments (including fitness to work) which lead to functional capacity evaluations, not only medical examinations, are intricately woven with our scope of Occupational Therapy practice and would thus render us as a “competent person”
