Guest Speaker - Friday Take the Fear out of Fundraising KATHERINE WERTHEIM, CFRE teaches people how to ask for money and get it. She has raised millions of dollars for dozens of organizations. She has taught fundraising to thousands of people from Massachusetts to Malaysia and from Seattle to Santiago, in 21 states, Asia and Latin America. Her published works on fundraising have been viewed by more than 200,000 people worldwide. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive, an earned credential held by fewer than 3% of fund- raising professionals worldwide. She is a Master Trainer with the Association of Fundraising Professionals, one of 225 worldwide, and a Certified Governance Trainer through BoardSource, one of 25 in America. She is the president of Werth-It, a consulting firm providing fundraising and board training to nonprofit organizations.
