DCES “TEAMS” WHO AND WHAT?

What are Teams? DCES teams help build camaraderie, positivity, pride, and praise. Students belong to their Team throughout their time at dces. The teams will “compete” for points throughout the day by displaying positive behavior and academic excellence.

YOU CAN HELP YOUR TEAM WIN! POINTS How do I Earn them? Modeling our Essential 5 (Teachers give you these points) Attendance (Each week you are here all week you earn a point) Grades… All A’s=5pts per 9wks All A’s and B’s=3pts per 9wks YOU CAN HELP YOUR TEAM WIN!

SHOUT OUTS When you see a Classmate or Teacher modeling our DCES Essential 5 give them a “Shout out”! You can write them down and put them in the basket in the front office! We will announce these in the morning announcements.

FUN STUFF! Meetings celebrations Each 9 weeks we have Team Meetings to learn TEAM cheers, and display our Team SPIRIT! (Build Unity) Teams will Dress in Team Spirit attire on meeting days! (GO ALL OUT) We will have Dress for Success Days (You will dress to Impress) The Team with the most points each 9 weeks will participate in a Celebration. In the past we have had… Black Light Party Color Run Silly String Super Hero Party Fall Festival (With costumes)
