Illinois Height Modernization Program Project Goals Geodetic Leveling Installed 187 new benchmarks and visited 114 horizontal monuments along 8 level lines to add a total of 301 new benchmark records to the National Spatial Reference System (NSRS). LiDAR and Derivative Elevation Data Long-term management and distribution of data for 18 Illinois Counties acquired by various agencies. ILHMP, IDOT, NRCS, USGS, USACE, Illinois Counties Share information on commercial CORS, RTK

Illinois Height Modernization Program Year 4: 2011-2012 funding pending $3.5M Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), State Planning and Research (SPR) funds through IDOT Geodetic Leveling Install 500 new benchmarks along 6 level lines.
