KENT CiTY Sports boosters

Kent City Sports Booster’s Purpose To support all phases of athletic programs in order to enhance the learning opportunities for students; to assist in the identification and development of program needs in order to maximize the opportunities for students’ to promote within the community a greater awareness of the accomplishments and needs of the school; to develop closer ties between the parent, students, and staff members; to increase the participation level of parents and students in athletic programs; to lean assistance and support; where needed to staff members as they carry out various athletic functions; to continue to improve the image of Kent City Community Schools and to continue to make Kent City Community Schools a more desirable place for students and staff members.

Concession Stand 70 Total Dates!!! Fall 2015: 28 times Kent City Sports Boosters opens the concession stand for several activities. Our concession stand is our primary way of raising funds: Fall 2015: 28 times (Middle School, J.V. & Varsity Football, Freshmen, J.V., & Varsity Volleyball, Middle School Boys and Girls Basketball) Winter 2015 - 2016: 34 times (Middle School & Varsity Wrestling, Freshmen, J.V., & Varsity Boys Basketball; Freshmen, J.V. & Varsity Girls Basketball; Middle School Volleyball) Spring 2016: 8 times (Middle School & Varsity Track and Field) 70 Total Dates!!! The Concession Stand is open for other events, such as Rocket Football, Youth Basketball, Carnival, Fall Festival Fireworks, etc.

Many Hands Make Light Work WE need more people to help out in the concession stand. Same people are working at every event. Work events your son or daughter is not participating in; allow others to watch their own kids/grandkids. All proceeds go back to our student-athletes. Representation from all sports needed!

Things to do We have several things to accomplish as we work to improve on what is already a great organization: Review Current Sports Boosters By-Laws (Handouts) Nominate and Elect Officials Set Meeting Dates Review Current By-Laws Find representation from all athletic programs. Assist in the Concession Stand
