CREDIT HISTORY/ DIPLOMA REQUIREMENTS You should ALL have 8 credits by June! You will have access to your credit information once you Log On to: www.myblueprint.ca/peel

BYOD email: Counsellors can send you a personal message related to your academics. studentnumber@pdsb.net My Blueprint account: Counsellors can use this to send a grade specific/personal messages that are extremely important to course selection or other crucial messages.

YOU ARE NOW READY TO SELECT YOUR COURSES!! Once you are logged into your myBlueprint account you can complete COURSE SELECTION from the home screen, TO SELECT COURSES – Click View Courses

Adding Courses For Next Year In the planner, the year for which you are selecting courses, will appear BLUE. Click on + Cou to tab to explore and select the available courses. In the next year planner select your options for grade 10. Remember you MUST select a MATH, ENGLish, SCIENCE, History and CIVICS/Careers. You will also have choice of 3 optionals. If you have not yet competed an ART credit make sure to select an ART.

Warning!! MUST Change this option before submitting! If you have selected a course for which you are missing a pre-requisite it will appear pink! Ensure that you have selected appropriately! MUST Change this option before submitting! If you have selected an inappropriate course the warning will be a pink box. Please correct this before submitting your course.

ALTERNATIVE COURSE You get to pick an alternate course in-case there is a course availability or timetabling issue!

After you have made your selections click on the Submit TAB. SUBMIT COURSES After you have made your selections click on the Submit TAB. **DO NOT click on the Submit button unless you are absolutely sure about the courses YOU have chosen. *** When you confirm and print you will not be able to make any additional changes to your course selection!

Press this TAB when you are ready to PRINT! Print out your course sign off sheet, get it signed by a parent and submit it to Student Services as soon as possible Need to get the SIGN OFF SHEET signed before submitting to Guidance. CONFIRM & PRINT

DEADLINE TO SELECT COURSES Course selection website opens Monday December 18th, 2017 At this time you can go online. Select your courses. Print out your sign off sheet and get it signed by a parent/guardian. Return the printed verification to your Guidance. Course selection website will close Friday January 12th, 2018

*Course Selection is on first come first serve basis. Make sure that the selected course IS the actual course you want (check course descriptions) When picking courses make sure that: you have the pre-requisite the course is the correct grade level Course selection is on first come first come basis. ensure that you have selected appropriate courses for the appropriate grade level and for which you have the pre-requisite

If you pick an inappropriate course YOU will be removed from it! The course you really wanted may no longer be available and you WILL be put on a wait list. To AVOID issues: SELECT EARLY and SELECT APPROPRIATELY!

INCOMPLETE COURSES Summer school (compulsory courses) 50% or higher – 4 weeks of summer school Below 50%-You might be eligible to take a 2 week make-up. Discuss this option with your counsellor. Summer school information -February

Summer School Looking to get ahead? Consider taking CHV2O0/GLC2O0 CHC2D0/2P You still will need to select these courses in myBlueprint for next year. You will have an opportunity to make changes later!
