Enrollment Field Enrollment: More than 1000 operators were deployed for field enrollment of beneficiaries Field Enrollment Covered 32 Districts, 233 Talukas & 12,620 Villages in Tamil Nadu Our Field Enrolment teams visited each village through out the state and conducted field enrollment camps IEC (Information Education Communication) camps were also conducted at the village level to generate public awareness about the scheme and where and when to get enrolled Enrollment of 1.3 Cr families was completed within a span of 6 months

Enrollment District Kiosk Each District HQ has District Kiosk for enrolling beneficiaries These beneficiaries are issued health card instantly

Enrollment Process

Challenges faced during enrollment Lack of awareness among the public about the project and schedule for Enrollment To bring about awareness, IEC activities were carried out including; Mobile Loud Speaker Announcement (using Auto-Rickshaw), Tom-Tom, Radio Jingles, Advertisements in leading newspapers, Press release by District Authorities Managing huge crowd at enrollment center Power Supply and Connectivity Close co-ordination with District Authorities and Health department officials helped us to overcome challenges

Card Issuance Process The Enrolled data is encrypted and exported by MSP’s enrollment application Data is collated at central data center Biometric de-duplication is carried at data center Smart cards are personalized using this data at high security smart card personalization unit Cards are distributed at the village level

Approximately 1.30 Crore Families Cards Issued Approximately 1.30 Crore Families Field Enrollment Apprx. 1.26 Crore Families District Kiosk Apprx. 4 Lakh Families

Cards Issued MSP has issued approx. 1.3 Crore Smart Cards for CMCHIS project within a span of 6 months 64kb SCOSTA Smart Card with biometrics of the beneficiaries and project specific data issued to all beneficiaries Enables offline biometric authentication to ensure that health care is available under all circumstances especially during emergency

Biometric Authentication

Biometric Authentication MSP has provided Biometric Authentication Platform to Authenticate Beneficiaries at hospitals through out the state to enable cashless medical treatment MSP has Provided Biometric Authentication platform for more than 700 hospitals through out Tamil Nadu

Future Roadmap Integration with Aadhaar through Aadhaar Seeding Enabling Electronic Medical Records using CMCHIS database and Biometric Authentication platform and making available of the EMR to network hospitals Possibility to link the CMCHIS card with other Government Social Welfare programs
