Presentation transcript:

Lines, Rays, Line Segments Make two arrows, that’s a line One end point makes it a ray Two end points, a line segment They are straight and never bent When they cross, they intersect When they don’t they’re parallel And if they form a right angle, That’s called perpendicular!

The Trapezoid Song You ain’t nothin’ but a trapezoid 4-sided all the time! Wellllll…..you got 2 parallel sides And the other 2 will meet sometime!

Line Segment Line segment, line segment Two end points, two endpoints! A line goes on forever, A line goes on forever! A ray goes one way A ray goes one way!

Landmarks in Data Mode, Median, Mean Are all center measures The mode is the value you see the most The median is the middle host For mean, you add and divide of course Minimum, Maximum, Range Show trends of data Minimum data is the lowest Maximum data is the most The range is the difference between them both

Geometry Lines Perpendicular, Perpendicular Parallel, Parallel Intersecting Lines, Intersecting Lines In the world, In the world

Geometry A line has two arrows; it goes on and on. A segment has two endpoints. A ray has only one. When you make a muscle; it’s a right angle too. Look at my vertex. You can do it too! Acute, Obtuse, Bye Bye!
