Unit A: Leadership, Careers, and SAE Examine leadership opportunities related to the horticulture industry. Discuss the organization available for students in horticulture. Demonstrate parliamentary procedures and public speaking used in horticulture business meetings. Examine careers related to horticulture. Discuss careers and skills necessary for employment in the horticulture industry. Implement an SAE.
Unit B: Plant Physiology Summarize plant anatomy. Discuss biological terms used to describe plants. Discuss the anatomy and functions of plants. Discuss floriculture and landscape plants. Examine factors relating to plant growth and development. Explain the growth process of plants. Use sexual and asexual methods of propagation.
