There are hundreds of opportunities to learn outside of the classroom to make education relevant to your life. How many times in a classroom have you wondered, “Why am I learning this information?” This is a real problem if learning is disconnected from your interests. FFA – Experience for Success Introduction to Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources Unit 1 and Lesson 1.2 Team FFA The Agricultural Education Model Instruction – Classroom experiences SAE – Individual student projects FFA – Leadership, character, and career development The three circle model is unique to agricultural education. Classroom instruction will enable you to learn agriculture, science, and other core academic studies in a real-life setting. SAE programs provide individualized programs of study to meet your interests and goals. The FFA provides character and life skills development to help you become a well-rounded and successful person. 7 What does F-F-A stand for?

From 1928 – 1988 the organization was known as the Future Farmers of America In 1988, the official name changed to the “National FFA Organization” to reflect the broader scope of agriculture. Join your local FFA chapter Participate Compete in Career Development Events (CDE) Participate in community service projects Throughout this course you will have many different opportunities provided to you as ways to become involved.
