Religion: Islam = the act of submitting to the will of God (Allah) Followers of Islam are called Muslims Quran (Koran) = Holy book of Islam which Muslims believe to be the actual word of God. - it tells Muslims how they should live their lives

The Five Pillars of Faith: There is no God but Allah. Pray 5 times a day facing Mecca, the holy city. Perform acts of charity. Fast during the daylight hours during the month of Ramadan. Make a pilgrimage or holy journey to Mecca.
