Presentation transcript:

When arrested, you have the right to stay silent. However, you cannot stay silent for long. You must speak up to protect your rights, especially when you are unfairly charged with a crime.

The law also gives a citizen the right to make one phone call when arrested. Whom will you call – your family, your best friend, or a lawyer? If you are smart, you will call a Prince George's County criminal law attorney lawyer.

Being arrested does not make you a criminal. You also must make sure that low enforcement is not strangulating your rights that are given by the Constitution of the United States.

Handcuffed hands look scary. They convince the world that you have committed a crime; but the court of law is not convinced by mere handcuffs. It demands evidence of your crime. Until and unless you are proved guilty, you are not a criminal. However, the challenge lies in proving your innocence.

You need not prove your innocence; your lawyer will do that for you. Criminal lawyer – that’s whom you need at this hour.

Criminal lawyers make sure your rights are protected and you are being fairly treated. They have the knack to check those overzealous law officers and prosecutors and, of course, your opponents who think they can put you behind the bars and do their own thing.

Having a good criminal attorney by your side gives you the confidence to put up with whatever is happening in your life right now. Being charged and arrested for a crime can hit your self esteem hard. You need somebody who not only assures you that everything is going to be alright, but also makes it alright.

Criminal law harbors federal laws and state laws. These laws make certain deportment by citizens unlawful. Such deportment is liable for punishment either by imposing fines, or imprisonment, or both.

Two kinds of cases exist in the legal system:  Civil cases  Criminal cases

Civil cases engage in disputes between people with respect to legal responsibilities and duties towards each other. Criminal cases engage in charges put on by prosecutors for breach of criminal statutes.

When you are arrested for a crime you must take this seriously and contact only a qualified criminal defense lawyer. Such a lawyer is familiar with local laws, legal procedures, law enforcement officials, prosecutors, judges, and others. He or she knows how things go in a criminal case.

For petty crimes you can contact defense lawyers, but for serious charges like rape, murder, and others, you must contact only top Maryland criminal lawyers attorneys. top Maryland criminal lawyers attorneys

You could be arrested for committing a crime against somebody, such as assault, murder, or rape, or for committing a crime against property, such as arson, burglary, or shoplifting, or for a drug crime, such as possession of marijuana or dealing with cocaine. In any of the above cases, you need an aggressive and experienced criminal lawyer to handle your case.
