California Parenting Institute History Since 1978, California Parenting Institute (CPI) has been a parent education and children’s mental health agency serving families throughout Sonoma County.

CPI Services Children today will comprise our society in the future. How we raise them determines the health and happiness of our community. Children’s Counseling - we provide therapy for children who have experienced abuse and trauma. Parenting Resources: Support & Education - we use a strong child development foundation, supporting the belief that each child brings unique needs and strengths to family life. Education - we operate a non-public school, New Directions, which provides high-quality academic and mental health services to youth ages 11 – 22.
