GOAL:  By 2016, the Papillion La Vista Community Schools will research and make recommendations on programs and services that support students socially, emotionally, and behaviorally.

11. Classroom Support Teacher-Child Interaction Training (TCIT)
A modification of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
PCIT has proven success for children who have a history of trauma
TCIT works to improve children’s ability to benefit from academic instruction and improve the teacher-child relationship

13. Boys Town Metro Intervention Center
A safe place for students to attend in order to receive social skills instruction and support from Boys Town trained staff
Students can attend for 1 day or several consecutive days
Can be used for students in several ways:
An alternate to suspension program
As an intervention proactively placed in a student’s IEP/BIP
As a location to serve a suspension instead of home

15. Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare
The mission is to organize and provide an effective and efficient system of quality behavioral health services.
Responsible for the planning, developing, funding, monitoring and evaluating of behavioral health services.
Includes mental health and substance abuse prevention, treatment and rehabilitation services provided by a network of providers, supported by federal, state and county dollars
