Classwork: Individually identify the parts of a paragraph on p. 6, Ex. 4. 1. Circle the topic sentence. 2. Underline the supporting ideas. 3. Double-underline the concluding sentence.

HOMEWORK: P. 65, Ex. 4: Interview a person who speaks English. When you finish the interview, look at your notes and answer this question: Does the person you interviewed have interesting personality traits? Yes/ No. Why? Answer this question in a paragraph format: TS, SI, CS - Your topic sentence may be something like this: In my opinion, the person I interviewed does not have interesting personality traits. - The supporting ideas (reasons) should be the answers and information that the person provided in the interview. - Don´t forget the topic sentence!
