Measuring College and Career Readiness PARCC RESULTS: YEAR THREE

NEW JERSEY’S STATEWIDE ASSESSMENT PROGRAM 2017 marks the 3rd administration of the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) and the opportunity to compare year-to-year results as the following slides will show. Students took PARCC English Language Arts and Literacy Assessments (ELA/L) in grades 3 – 8 . Students took PARCC Mathematics Assessments in grades 3 – 8 and End of Course Assessments in Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. 4

2018 NJASK SCIENCE GRADE 4 & GRADE 8 DATES The New Jersey Department of Education is currently in the process of developing a new science assessment. The assessment will be aligned with the newly implemented New Jersey Student Learning Standards in Science. Information regarding this assessment and testing dates will be provided as it becomes available.
