Graceful Deer By Tamera and Faith

Habitat and Classification Deer live in Asia, Europe, North America and, South America. Deer live in Deserts too. Deer are mammals.

Predator or Prey diet Deer are prey to Bears, Wolves, and Coyotes. Deer eat grasses, clovers, berries, apples, acorns, and browsers.

Camouflage type A deer blends in with it’s surroundings. A baby deer’s spots help it to blend in by it looking like spots of sunlight on the forest floor.

Interesting facts Did you know that there are very cool facts about deer? Well, you are about to find out. A baby deer’s father does not stay near it’s family, it only comes back to sleep with them All deer’s hooves are 6 inches long. Fawns can stand up almost right away.

Bonus The water deer is different from other deer because the water deer have tusks! When the boy deer is growing it’s antlers they start out as two little stubs, and they get sharper as they grow but they lose them in the winter.
