4. Diet A raccoon is an omnivore They eat fruit fish mice nuts plants garbage. Cubs drink moms milk Raccoon dunk their food in water before they eat.

5. Survival There are many dangers to raccoon Raccoons worst enemies are humans and dogs. Other predators are cougars and coyotes. Raccoon climb trees run away or fight back.

6. Other Facts Raccoon don’t hibernate but do sleep for weeks in winter. They have up to 8 cubs in the spring.
