2018 Rewards Packages & New Programs Studio V is introducing four new programs to the timetable in 2018 Ballet Production Class (for Level 5 plus students, by audition) Poms & Tumbling Fusion Syllabus (SFD Exam Syllabus) Drama / Musical Theatre Studio V is also introducing a fantastic Rewards Package to loyal and committed dancers who wish to round their skillsets as versatile dancers: Triple Bill Reward (B/J/T) = Complimentary 30 mins of specialty classes offered p/w Quad Reward Offer (B/J/T/A&P) = Complimentary 60 mins of specialty classes offered p/w Penta Reward Offer (Level 6 plus, doing more than 7 hours of training per week) = Complimentary 90 mins of specialty classes offered p/w See overleaf for pre-requisites and details of complimentary specialty classes on offer

Rewards 2018 …. Complimentary Classes Prerequisite per week Complimentary Specialty Class Choices Triple Bill Ballet, Jazz, Tap 30 min class complimentary p/w Select one of the following 30 min specialty classes: either Singing, Hip Hop or Musical Theatre Quad Reward Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acrobatics/Production 60 min class Select two 30 min specialty classes: either Singing (30 min), Hip Hop (30 min) or Musical Theatre (30 min) OR select Poms & Tumbling (60) Penta Reward Applies to Level 6/7/8/9/10 students who complete a minimum of 7 hours training per week *(7 hours of training should include core classes, eg: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Production, Contemporary, Fusion, Pointe classes) 90 min class Select 90 mins worth of specialty classes from: Singing (30 mins), Musical Theatre (30 mins), Senior Musical Theatre (60 mins), Hip Hop (30 mins), Poms & Tumbling (60 mins)

Ballet Production Class Studio V’s new Ballet Production is a specialised Ballet Technique Coaching Class. This is an ‘open’ class focusing on classical ballet technique with no syllabus work. Entry to this class: By audition 9.12.17 Aimed at ballet students from Level 5 and above (L 5/6/7/Pre-El/El/Int) Taught by Geraldine Lett who is a former West Australian Ballet performer and Elite Ballet coach and professional dance industry mentor We will focus on pure technique and there will also be an opportunity to be a part of a choreographic piece during the year. This opportunity aims to further develop your classical technique, artistry and personal talents Class 2018: Monday’s 5.45 – 6.30pm – St Johns Hall

Poms & Tumbling – Studio V VIPERS! Introduction the Studio V VIPERS…. Which is a new dance/poms/tumbling stream in 2018 consisting of challenge, athleticism and entertainment! Dance / Poms & Tumbling is a new and exciting genre in dance/acro and Studio V is embracing it Students learn dance routines based on various skills showcasing poms/tumbling/dance all mixed into one, with various degrees of difficulty, skill levels and execution for all ages … with the use of Poms! Using our acrobatic mats and equipment we will prepare our students for that next level of Acro dance!

Fusion Syllabus (SFD) Fusion Green will be introduced to the 2018 Timetable which is a great class and SFD syllabus to exercise versatility as a dancer Green Level is aimed at Level 5 & 6 students (Fusion Red & Blue levels are harder and will be offered at higher dance levels if interest expressed) This is an SFD exam syllabus (students can opt to sit the exam) Fusion is a culmination of different dance genres in one syllabus, including: Modern Jazz Hip Hop Contemporary / Lyrical Musical Theatre African Bollywood Country & Western Body Percussion & more!

Drama / Musical Theatre Performers these days need to be super versatile and be Triple Threats, meaning they can Dance, Sing & Act Drama classes aim to give students confidence and enhance their musical theatre skills for stage performances, at all ages and levels Our fun and dynamic drama/musical theatre classes improve kids communication skills, team work and self esteem Each week is a themed lesson, stimulating students imagination Students participate in a range of drama activities which include warm up games, speech/vocal work/singing, movement and performance skills

Disneyland 2019 In addition to all of the new programs and rewards being offered to Studio V Students in 2018 there is another exciting 2019 vision All Production Squad members of 2018 & 2019 will have the opportunity to perform in Disneyland Los Angeles in September 2019 Studio V will be celebrating 20 years of dance Disneyland rehearsal classes will form part of the 2019 timetable (outside of normal production class times). You can still attend normal Production classes in 2018 & 2019 even if you don’t intend on coming to LA Los Angeles 2019 …. Join that Dream x
