Mrs. Pittinger and Ms. Pritt’s Classroom News October 30-November 3, 2017 Spelling List Consonant Blend ending sounds next end camp sank sing drink hunt stand long stamp pond bring Bonus Words: young left friend Sentence: The pond was down the long path near camp. Vocabulary shaped- the form or shape that it takes. branches- tree parts that grow from a tree’s trunk. beaks- the hard, pointed part of a bird’s mouth. break- to come apart into two or more pieces. winding- to move one way and then another. pond- a body of water that is smaller than a lake. hang- attached to something else at the top and does not touch the ground. deepest- farthest depth from the surface.
