Me and What an Artist in Residence is! Robin Borland. BA in Fine Art from USF, two year certificate in Graphic Design, working on my Master’s in Art in Medicine from UF. Accomplished, Professional Artists Skilled facilitators Contracted by healthcare facilities to bring the arts to patients, visitors and caregivers They humanize and enhance the healthcare experience through the arts.

How Art Can Heal Art Heals By Reducing anxiety and mood disorders Reduces behaviors that interfere with emotional and cognitive functions Externalizing, verbalizing and resolving memories of traumatic events Reactivating positive emotion, self-worth and self esteem

Veterans Creating for Community This program was started in conjunction with the VA and their outpatient program but through outside funding I hope to expand this program and offer it to all Veterans in the surrounding community. Your donations will go toward the fee for at least 5 to 7 more Vets in the community to come and create with me! It will also be used for supplies.
