A CMOS Biosensor System-on-Chip for Mobile Applications 中華電信「智慧聯網」培訓班演講 A CMOS Biosensor System-on-Chip for Mobile Applications 時間：102年1月11日(五) 下午1:30-3:00 地點：臺灣大學電機二館145教室 講者：林致廷 教授 國立臺灣大學電機系暨電子所 Abstract Over decades, the rapid development of semiconductor fabrication process has offered a good vehicle for the technology evolution. Recently, the CMOS technology has become the emerging research field to solve critical issues in biosensors, such as miniaturization of the devices, low cost, low power consumption, and integration with on-chip circuits to improve the signal-to-noise ratio. On the other hand, the better sensitivity and stability are expected for the next generation biosensor to be employed into clinical applications. Therefore, we demonstrate the first CMOS based bio-SoC for highly sensitive, label free, and real time DNA detection of Hepatitis B Virus (HBV), which is a critical disease due to its high morbidity and mortality. The cost, practicability, and portability of this chip are also taken into account to allow access to point-of-care and outdoor applications. Bio Chih-Ting Lin received the B.S. degree in civil engineering and M.S. degree in applied mechanics from the National Taiwan University, in 1996 and 1998, respectively. He also received the M.S. and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. Since September 2006, he has been with the National Taiwan University, where he is an assistant professor of the Graduate Institute of Electronics Engineering and the Department of Electrical Engineering.
