Think Pieces We first used this sheet to introduce the think piece when discussing the portfolio. A class assignment think piece will allow me to given you some feedback on think pieces before the actual portfolio (which is worth the big points) is due.

Reflect upon articles found in a magazine, newspaper, or on the internet http://www.findarticles.com/cf_0/PI/index.jhtml Think pieces should be 1.5 to 2 pages written. The guide below shows you there should be 6 well-constructed paragraphs in this assignment. (Do not number paragraphs)

To get top marks in the writing section on each paragraph, each student should Try to relate article to class work. Try to relate article to STSE. Try to relate article to your own experiences. Use the above application to lengthen the paragraphs. Use adequate grammar and English skills. Work should be neat and thoughtful. Do not be afraid to write more than the minimum.
