What is the difference between medical and surgical? Medical Department Surgical Department uses medicine to cure systemic (系统的) often treated for a long time eg. heart disease (ex. 绞痛) treated with heart medicine (ex. 硝化甘油) for many years eg shoulder pain that is treated with medicine uses surgery to cure localized (具体的) often fixed immediately eg. heart attack (心梗) that needs bypass surgery (冠状动脉旁路) shoulder pain that is treated with surgery
